Why do you need a MIP?

MIP is a wealth management method that combines the characteristics of an installment savings account with an investment strategy.(Through the monthly investing of a fixed amount of capital, a large amount of earnings may be gradually accumulated)

  • MIP is a proven system that is designed to offset the fluctuations of market prices
  • MIP is commonly used in the pension management of wage earners and the self-employed.
  • MIP allows for the monthly investing of funds valued at KRW 500,000

HSBC’s MIP follows three basic principles for successful investment

We know you are investing in your future. That’s why we make minimizing your investment risk a top priority. We can help reduce the risks by following investment strategies below.

Diversified investment strategies

“Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.”
If your assets are invested in diverse financial instruments, the loss in one sector can be offset by the gain in other sectors.

Long-term investment strategies

Short-term investment strategies in stocks and/or bonds are at greater risk to fluctuations within the market. With a longer investment period, your vulnerability to such market fluctuations can be reduced.

Regular invest

The inherit risk from volatile market conditions may be reduced by investing regularly. If the price of an investment falls, more units may be purchased. MIP allows you to take advantage of these changing market conditions.
