I don’t remember my internet banking password.

An internet banking password is an alphanumeric consisting of 6 to 30 characters chosen by you. If you don’t remember the password, please use the link “Forgotten your password?” on the logon page to set up a new password.
If you wish to use the new password, please visit one of our branches or contact the HSBC Call Center at 1588-1770 with the reference number. When you make a phone call to validate your new password, your phone banking PIN number and security code (OTP) verification are required.
What is the maximum transfer limit for Internet Banking?

Please visit our branch to increase your present transfer limit within the maximum transfer limit. Transfer limits for local foreign currency transfer are subject to the same transfer limits applicable to overseas account transfers.
Why can I not use my internet banking facility?

If you do not logon to internet banking for more than 12 months, your transfer limit will be reduced to zero and the logon will be suspended. If you want to use internet banking again, please visit one of our HSBC branches with your personal identification.
How can I get a digital certificate?

If you want to obtain a digital certificate for the first time, please click [Certificate Center > Issue / Reissue] to get a new digital certificate. If you already have a digital certificate from another institution, you can use it right away by registering the digital certificate without reissue.
Can I use the Digital Certificate at home and office?

Yes, you can.
You can copy the digital certificate to other drives such as a portable USB drive or memory stick.
How to Copy
① Click [ Certificate Centre > Management ]
② Select a drive on which a Digital Certificate is saved.
③ Select the digital certificate and click "Copy"
④ Choose a drive to save to. (Portable USB, Security memory stick, etc)
⑤ Input the password for your digital certificate, and click [Confirm]
⑥ You can use the copied digital certificate with other PCs
I have forgotten my digital certificate password.

You can try your password as many times as you like since there is no auto-lock function after having entered the wrong password several times. You can get a new digital certificate by clicking [Certificate Centre > Issue/Reissue], and set up your new password. The password is a case-sensitive alphanumeric of 8 characters long.
How can I register my OTP?

After the personal identity verification, you need to logon to HSBC internet banking for the first time. After setting up your user ID and password, you need to input the serial number and the six digit security code of the OTP.
