How Your Credit Information is Used This is designed to help you understand how your credit information is used by us in accordance
 with Article 31 of  Use and Protection of Credit Information Act.

Purpose of Use and Type of Credit Information

1. Purpose of Use
   
    - To establish financial relationship (including but not limited to financial services
       requested by you) or decide whether to maintain such relationship
    - Debt Collection
    - Marketing
    - Other cases defined by the Act or other applicable laws

2. Type of Credit Information
    
    - Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Name, Residence Registration Number
      (for foreigners, foreigner registration number, for compatriots with foreign nationality,
      domestic residence registration number, for those with no foreigner registration
      number or domestic residence registration number, foreigner/compatriot credit
      information registration number), Name of Corporation (including individual company
      and corporation), Business Registration Number, Name of Representative, etc
   
    - Credit Transaction Information
       .Personal Credit Transaction Information
        Loans, Debt Guarantee, cash advance details, current Account details, credit card
        issuance/termination history, default history, subrogation/Substitute payment
        record, dishonored check information
       .Company Credit Transaction Information
        Current account details, credit card issuance/termination history, default history,
        subrogation/substitute payment record, dishonored check information, credit facility
        record including loan and payment guarantee
   
    - Information involving disruption of financial order : any act which disrupts
       financial order (i.e. unfair or illegal acts to take out loans, etc)
   
    - Credit Worthiness Information : company overview, general information on the
       company, financial condition, financial ratio, auditor’s opinion, tax payment record. etc
   
    - Record with Public Organization : Default record registered with public
      organizations(due to delinquency in payment of national tax ㆍlocal taxㆍcustoms duties
     ㆍemployment/industrial disaster insurance premiums, or court decision), customers
      under debt workout program or credit recovery program, and customers exempted 
      from liabilities due to bankruptcy, etc

To Whom we provide Credit Information, Purpose of Use and Type of Credit Information

1. To whom we provide credit information
    - Credit Information Concentration Institution (KFB), Credit Information Company (NICE
      (Inc.), Korea Information Service (Inc.), etc)
       : Collect, keep and provide credit information on financial institutions
    - Public organizations which request credit information under the Act and other applicable
       laws : Carry out purposes prescribed by the laws
    - Affiliated Companies (the Headquarters, Subsidiaries and Affiliates, etc)  and Overseas
       Regulators : Business Alliance(Provision of Premier Services, etc), Internal Report,
       Approval, Audit and/or Inspection, etc
    - Outsourcing Contractors or Companies (i.e. Loan solicitor)
       : Consult loan details, Offer loan services, Send Text Message or mail, Process and
         Store transaction information, etc

2. Type of Credit Information Provided
   - Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
   - Credit Transaction Information
   - Credit Worthiness Information
   - Information involving disruption of financial order
   - Bank Transaction Information, etc.

Retention & Destruction of Credit Information

1. Retention of credit information : We use your credit information solely for the purpose of screening loan applications or following up loans provided, and we shall separately obtain your consent to use your credit information for other purposes. We use the information which may cause disadvantage to customers including but not limited to overdue payment record for the period of maximum 5 years from the date when the cause for such disadvantage is cleared up. When it comes to credit information provided by credit information companies, we use such information in compliance with the period prescribed in Credit Information Management Rule of the applicable credit information company.

2. Destruction of credit information : We shred or burn up paper copies containing credit information while deleting electronic files containing credit information by using technical means disabling restoration of the content.

Your Right to Credit Information

1. Right to provide and request to have access to credit information of your own
    - You are entitled to provide or request to have access to your own credit information held
       by any credit information business firm after having your identification verified.

2. Right to request to correct incorrect credit information of your own
    - You are entitled to request credit information companies to correct incorrect credit
       information.

3. Right to request to notify any provision of your credit information
    - You are entitled to request to notify you of details on your credit information provided for
       the recent 1 year.

4. Right to withdraw consent to provision ㆍuse of personal credit information
    - You are entitled to withdraw, via internet, wire/wireless phone, or in writing, consent to
       provision and use of personal credit information through which you agreed to provide
       such credit information for other purposes than rating credit worthiness.

※ How to exercise the aforementioned rights
    - If you are not an existing customer and have provided your credit information to the Bank
      through any event or campaign, you can apply through either the Bank’s internet web
      page or telephone .
    - If you are an existing customer (internet banking or phone banking user) you may apply
      via telephone, internet banking, or you can make a request in writing as well.

You are entitled to request credit information companies (NICE, Korea Information Service, Seoul Credit Rating & Information etc) to show your credit report at no cost provided within a certain limit. For more information, please contact the below credit information companies.
