Dear Customer,

We wish to inform you that HSBC has obtained, on 5 February 2014, the final approval from regulatory authorities for the closure of its branches. With this approval, 10 HSBC branches were officially closed on 21 March 2014. We will exert our best efforts throughout the process in order to minimize any inconvenience.

What does this mean for you
   - 10 HSBC branches (Samsung, Seocho, Bangbae, Apkujung, Kwangjang, Bundang, Incheon, Busan, Daegu and Daejeon Branches) were closed on 20 March 2014. All of remaining accounts were transferred to Customer Service Centre.
   - Customer Service Centre will remain open to support existing customers.
   - HSBC ATMs will be removed upon branch closure. However, you may still use one HSBC ATM at Customer Service Centre and other non-HSBC ATMs until 30 December 2014. No separate fee will be charged for using ATM.
   - Internet Banking Service was closed on 30 June 2014.
   - Phone Banking Service will be provided until further notice.
   - Call Centre will be available from 09:00 to 17:30 on Mon-Fri.
