| HSBC sponsored “The KCFO Annual Conference 2008” held at Westin Chosun Hotel on Jun.26, organized by The Korea Association for Chief Financial Officers (KCFO). PCM was the sole Executive Platinum Sponsor of the event, a gathering of about 100 CFO's from top-level corporates in Korea. After welcome speech by Sanghoon Kim, KCFO Chairman, keynote addresses presented at the conference provided unique insights into the conference theme of 'Roles & Responsibilities of CFO’ and ‘Legal & Tax Considerations in Leveraged Buy-Out Deals'. Abhay Chauhan, Head of Global Payments & Cash Management, HSBC Korea, added focus on “What is Cutting Edge Treasury” in his presentation. PCM took this opportunity to promote its products and services. HSBC marketing booth displayed the product brochures of HSBC PCM including Korea Xpress, Integrated Payments/Receivables Solutions, Liquidity Management Solutions and Integrated Delivery Channels, which generated lots of interest from HSBC’s existing and potential customers. In addition, copies of the ‘HSBC’s Guide to Cash and Treasury Management 2008’ were distributed to aid customers, together with HSBC giveaway passport holder set.  |
