| HSBC sponsored for “11th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business”(APK) held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for October 4-6, organized by the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad in co-operation with the Asia-Pacific Committee of German Business and the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. As the joint initiative by Korea and Trinkaus (HSBC subsidiary in Germany), HSBC was the Platinum Sponsor of the APK event, which is the most important event for German companies involved in Asian business with more than 600 German and international CEOs, policy makers and representatives of German institutions and associations attending. This is the "Join Up" HSBC's businesses in Korea and Germany. HSBC Korea also took the opportunity to show Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking product and services offerings at HSBC marketing booth displayed with the informative research materials. Participants of the APK event, including HSBC VVIP clients and internal guests, were greeted to HSBC Korea’s Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking guide at HSBC booth. At the same time, participants also showed great interest in HSBC marketing booth and research materials such as ‘Asian Economics - Q3 2007’ by HSBC Global Economics Research Team. In addition, copies of the ‘HSBC’s Guide to Cash and Treasury Management 2007’ and ‘HSBC’s Guide to Emerging Market Currencies 2006/2007’ were distributed to aid customers, together with HSBC giveaway desk organizers.  |
